- Q: What is The Bromance and what is it all about?
-
A: The Bromace is a group of guys from Watertown New York who have sat around and talked about doing things for a long time. They’ve finally gotten up and banded together to make a difference in their area. (Not necessarily a good one, but still, that has to be worth something)
Supported by Use-Bombs.com and Super-Gnarly Industries, they chat about local and world news, music, humor, and other such ramblings. Expect to hear their verbal roller coaster, and expect them to drag a few members of independent bands along for the ride.
- Q: How often do you record your podcasts?
-
A: Though we all love recording the Bromance podcast, we do have other obligations in life and limited bandwidth. Due to this, we record the Bromance roughly every two weeks.
- Q: Is the Bromance Explicit?
-
A: Büb and Arison have been known to get into “lovers’ quarrels” now and then. And, when those two get into it, things get nasty. For that reason, and many others, The Bromance is marked as explicit.
- Q: That theme rocks! Who made it?
-
A: The Bromance theme was created by Matt Corey and Kevin Hinman of The Boomboxx Saints fame, and recorded at Sidetracked Studios; right outside Watertown.
- Q: What is this monstrous Cupid figure?
-
A: That “monstrous cupid figure”, as you put it, is El Santo Cupid. He is the mascot and quasi-logo of the Bromance. When brainstorming the Bromance logo, we wanted something that embraced the two ideas that make up bromance–Manliness (bro-) and romance. After a mass listings of those things–salsa, flowers, chainsaws, scented candles, etc.–we stumbled across the perfect combination: Cupid and a Luchadore. Thus, El Santo Cupid, the Luchadore Cupid logo that we’ve all come to know and love was born.
A: Unfortunately, Internet Explorer 6 is deprecated. It is known to have several security and rendering bugs. We at The Bromance attempt to provide a usable experience, even with the faults in Internet Explorer 6. However, we will not jump through any hoops to support a discontinued browser.
If you would like to see The Bromance website in all it’s splendor, then you should download a current, safe, standardized browser. Personally, we recommend Firefox or Opera. Even Internet Explorer 7 is an improvement. (Albeit, not much of one.)
